Breaking our car journey from Alicante to Santander ferry this hotel fulfilled our need for a restful overnight stop. The hotel is ideal for a stop-over being within easy reach of the motorway. The room was comfortable, there is good sized bar area and dining room (for dinner/breakfast). As an added attraction, the local village is remarkably pristine, and suitable for an evening stroll. The old village square has just a few cafes/bars. Curiously many of the older houses have had a secondary brick outer leaf added (presumably for increased insulation) but with original historical windows and doors still visible behind the new facade.

Front of house staff,Vanessa was great and really helpful-nice :) the bar was great and the restaurant was fine for the fare on offer. The hotel is adjacent to the A62 so very good for all point navigation to anywhere you might be headed-Santander ferry etc...Shell garage behind the hotel also had a handy store for the basic provisos and as a whole was very good even though renovation was ongoing at the time.

A lovely hotel we have used quite a few times for an overnight stay en route to Bilbao. Good value for money, we paid for a breakfast which was plentiful and buffet style, lovely selection, the staff were lovely and friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel could do with an update but it was clean, comfy and tidy. We will use again next year as the location is ideal.

Karon

The hotel exceeded our expectations. My wife has mobility problems and I requested a ground floor bedroom and was very pleased to be allocated an disabled room which was superb. The room was very clean, comfortable and the dinner and breakfast excellent. Overall, a very good stay and good value for money.

Colin

The convenience to the motorway and its facilities, excellent parking, simple checkin, one priece bed, breakfast and evening meal so no need to pay add ons etc. Fair choice of menu on the set menu offered, superb breakfast
